In den letzten zwei Wochen gab es keine legalen Umfragen mehr, so dass ukrainische Wahlgesetz. Was sollte also purzeln?
Resultat: Gelassene Ruhe an unserem Markt.
Ganz anders in USA. Hier werden noch auf dem Weg in die Wahlkabine Umfragen veröffentlicht. Resultat: Hysterie in MA - aber nicht an unserem Markt.

Nun, die Aktie von Janukowitsch liegt noch in etwa dort, wo die Umfragen ihn sehen. ALLE drei andere Aktien liegen SEHR WEIT daneben.
Vielleicht liegen die Umfragen aber auch falsch und wir sind mit unserer Prognose besser :-)

Saturday, January 16 in Ukraine is pre-election silence day. Starting from the midnight any campaigning for any of the candidates who will contest the presidency in the January 17 election is prohibited. Such a measure exists in the legislation of many countries around the world. The electorate must have a chance to stop to think and to make the last choice without last-minute external pressures.
The city’s utility services have had a really hard time clearing the streets of election posters and billboards advertising the innumerable merits of the eighteen contenders for the position of the head of state. Street kiosks that have to the last minute distributed election leaflets and handouts have been removed. Television channels are back to their original broadcasting schedules.
There is the unanimity the just-ended election campaign was far less turbulent than the presidential election of 2004. In a sense it was a farewell to the ‘orange’ ideology. All presidential candidates have eagerly used the experience gained during the early parliamentary elections of 2007.

Was die meinungsumfragen betrifft, bin ich allerdings sehr skeptisch - bei den letzten urnengängen lagen sie in der ukraine ziemlich daneben.
Ich sitze auf mehr als 7000 jazenjuk-aktien und hoffe, dass der die große überraschung des urnenganges sein wird. -
Ich denke, dass Arsenij Jazenjuk, irgendwo zw. 5% und 9% landen wird, und Serhij Tihipko der Überraschungssieger werden könnte, da er (im Gegensatz zu Jazenjuk) in den letzten Umfragen deutlich aufholen konnte.

Wie ich gerade in mehreren Quellen lese schließen die Wahllokale um 19:00 Uhr.
Es muss also folgendermaßen heißen:
Die Wahllokale sind von 08.00 Uhr (07.00 Uhr MEZ) bis 20.00 Uhr (19.00 Uhr MEZ) geöffnet. -
sobald feststeht, wer in die stichwahl kommt, starte ich auf demselben handelsplatz einen neuen markt.
btw: sehe ich das richtig, dass bei der stichwahl auch "against all" stimmen ausgewiesen werden? -
Soweit ich das weiß besteht schon in der ersten Wahlrunde de Möglichkeit "gegen alle/against all" zu stimmen. War zumindest bei der Wahl 2004 so.

Zur Wahl aufgerufen waren 36,6 Millionen Bürger. Die Wahllokale sind von 08.00 Uhr bis 20.00 Uhr Ortszeit (07.00 Uhr bis 19.00 Uhr MEZ) geöffnet. Unmittelbar danach sollen erste Prognosen auf der Basis von Exit-Polls veröffentlicht werden. (APA)
